VAIO of America is looking for an Associate Strategic Business Development Manager who will be responsible for maintaining and developing our growing business efforts around wireless solutions. You will be responsible for engaging with key individuals both internally and externally to further drive current programs as well as create new ones. Responsibilities include, managing partner interactions, working with cross-functional teams in new business opportunities and handling resolution of business issues with partners. We are seeking a team player that is proactive, extremely well organized and is great at following up. You will need to have a good understanding of partner management with large complex organizations, contracts, program/project management, wireless carrier business and some financial analysis. You will need to be able to clearly present to and negotiate with management level individuals. Additionally, it will be necessary to proactively follow market trends and conditions to enable better decision making for current and future product opportunities. Work is reviewed and measured based on meeting objectives and schedules.
Requirements
• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration is required or equivalent • Must have 2 to 4 years of related experience • Experience in consumer electronics preferred • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely to all levels within the organization • Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills including in a more formal meeting / presentation setting • Must have strong persuasive and presentation skills • Must possess excellent organizational skills • Must be able to work independently as well as in a team environment • Ability to recognize and analyze problems and then develop and implement solutions as required • Ability to develop professional relationships, at multiple levels, throughout customer and professional organizations, in all of the specified market segments • Japanese or Spanish language skills are desirable • Flexibility to travel domestically or internationally may be is required
